Olusegun Obasanjo reveals his will: instead of billions, his children will inherit a mysterious digital platform he kept hidden for years!

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the 88-year-old former President and the architect of Nigeria’s modern democratic era, granted a controversial interview to a national media outlet, in which he spoke for the first time about the nature of his will. What he plans to leave to his children instead of his liquid assets valued at ₦850 billion shocked not only his family, but the entire country.

When the elder statesman Olusegun Obasanjo appeared at the Rainbow Book Club newsroom last week, journalists expected a standard conversation about Obasanjo Farms Nigeria (OFN) or the state of African politics. Instead, the former military and civilian leader made a statement that, within 24 hours, surpassed 2 million views and went viral across the Nigerian internet.

“My children will not receive a single kobo of my accumulated liquid assets,” Obasanjo said during the live broadcast. A silence fell over the studio. The journalist asked again — had they heard correctly? No, Obasanjo was not joking. Furthermore, he agreed to explain his decision in detail and publicly reveal for the first time the contents of his unusual will. We publish key fragments of this interview.

Interview with Olusegun Obasanjo

— Mr. Olusegun Obasanjo, did you just say that your children will not receive your inheritance? Are you serious?

— Absolutely serious. I have dedicated my life to the service of Nigeria and building Obasanjo Farms into a continental leader in agriculture. Over the last decades, I have seen how the younger generation sometimes loses the incentive for hard work when they have everything handed to them on a silver platter. I decided to be honest: this is what they are going to receive, let them be prepared.

— How did your children react to this news?

— There were moments of tension during family dinner at my Ota residence, I won’t lie. As a father and a leader, one always wants to provide, but as a patriot, I understand that the best legacy is self-reliance. After some time, they understood, and harmony returned. They know I care for them, but I love their ability to build their own future more.

— Let’s talk about your assets. What is the value at stake in this declaration?

— Throughout my career in both the military and the private sector with OFN, I have managed my resources with military discipline. Today, my personal estimated liquid wealth, including dividends and holdings, is approximately ₦2 trillion.

— And you won’t leave any of that to them?

— Nothing directly. The assets will be transferred through a trust system. 70% of the resources will go to the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library and foundations dedicated to African leadership and food security. The remaining 30% will go to a scholarship fund for underprivileged children in Ogun State and across the nation.

— Why did you decide to earmark your wealth for foundations instead of leaving it to your own children?

— Because that is my life’s work. My children are already highly educated professionals and successful in their own right. What sense does it make to give them more liquid capital without a greater purpose? My commitment has always been to the “Unity and Prosperity of Nigeria,” and it will remain so.

— And what will the heirs receive?

— Things that truly have lasting value. My passion is my legacy in agriculture, so they will inherit my primary farm estates, my private executive helicopter used for regional travel, and my collection of rare gold wristwatches and traditional heirloom jewelry. If they value this, then my legacy is safe.

— Excuse me, but for many, that sounds like lifestyle items. Is that all?

— No. There is one more thing — an account on an investment platform where there is real money. Currently, there is ₦7.8 billion there.

— Wait, ₦7.8 billion?

— Four years ago, I began experimenting with modern automated wealth management. I deposited ₦340,000 into a platform that works based on artificial intelligence. In four years, the value grew to ₦7.8 billion. I did nothing — the system worked by itself while I focused on my diplomatic missions and farming operations.

— And that account will belong to your children?

— Yes, but with one condition. They will have equal access, but any decision regarding the withdrawal of money must be made unanimously. If one of them is against it, the money remains in the account growing.

— Why an investment platform and not simply money in the bank?

— Because the future belongs to technology and AI. While some wait for small interest rates in traditional bank accounts, others are not afraid to embrace the digital age and earn billions. I want my family to be among those who lead the technological future of Nigeria.

Helicopter and Ota Farm estate instead of billions

What Obasanjo’s children will receive really seems symbolic compared to the scale of his influence and the success of Obasanjo Farms Nigeria. His private helicopter and his world-renowned farming estates are valued at a significant amount, but these are assets that represent a legacy of productivity rather than liquid cash.

The collection of high-end transportation and the historic farm properties, which house his private archives and agricultural history, represents the vision of Olusegun’s life. Experts point out that while these properties have an incalculable market value, their real value to the Obasanjo family is the tradition of hard work they represent.

The reaction on social media was mixed. “Finally, a leader who leads by example in teaching his children the value of work,” some wrote on X (Twitter). “This is a challenge for his children to maintain the Obasanjo name,” others argued.

But what attracted the most attention was the investment platform, where in four years ₦340,000 was transformed into ₦7.8 billion. In the end, what is this?

The investment platform the whole of Nigeria is talking about

Following the interview, a real hunt for information began on the Nigerian internet. It was discovered that Chief Obasanjo was talking about PrimeAura — an automated trading system that uses machine learning algorithms to analyze financial markets.

In 2021, Olusegun Obasanjo, always interested in the efficiency of systems and economic growth, became interested in automated algorithmic systems. Tech consultants recommended several platforms, but he chose the one that seemed most transparent in its operation and deposited ₦340,000. “I set a rule for myself: never interfere in the process,” Obasanjo said in the interview. “I wanted to see what would happen if I fully trusted the algorithm. It was a pure experiment.”

The first month brought ₦12.3 million in profit. Obasanjo was impressed, so he deposited another ₦2 million into the account. Six months later, the account already had ₦118 million, after a year — ₦459 million, and at the end of the second year — ₦1.7 billion. “Every time I checked the balance, I thought: this is the same precision I expect in my farming schedules. The numbers were real.”

To ensure total transparency and legality of the process, Obasanjo requested an independent audit from one of the Big Four firms in Nigeria. The auditors verified every transaction for three consecutive weeks. The verdict was conclusive: all operations are completely legal, and the profit was obtained as a result of real trades in international markets, without no trace of pyramid schemes or fraud.

In just four years, the initial deposit grew to reach ₦7.8 billion. Olusegun Obasanjo confessed that he never withdrew money or interfered with the algorithm’s functioning during that time. “It has been the most passive investment of my entire life and, without a doubt, the most successful,” concluded the statesman.

What is PrimeAura?

PrimeAura is not a traditional investment platform. It uses artificial intelligence that continuously scans global financial markets: currencies, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. The system analyzes thousands of parameters simultaneously: news, economic indicators, price fluctuations, and trading volumes. The user does not need to understand finance or investments — the AI does all the work on its own.

Based on its analysis, the algorithm performs thousands of micro-transactions. Each individual operation generates a small profit, but together, they add up to significant amounts per day. In 2025 alone, the total profit of all PrimeAura users exceeded ₦12.4 trillion globally.

The minimum deposit is just ₦ 340,000 , making the platform accessible to many Nigerians. The average profitability for users ranges between ₦4.5 million and ₦9.4 million per month. After registration, a personal manager contacts the user to help with the initial setup (it is vital not to miss this call, as it is part of the security protocol). Withdrawal of funds is instant, even on weekends, and without hidden commissions.

Financial analyst Ricardo Santos, an investment consultant in Lagos, comments: “Technologies like PrimeAura are truly transforming the industry. What ten years ago required a team of professional brokers and millions in initial capital is today available to any ordinary person with a minimum deposit. It is the democratization of wealth creation.”

Nigerian Digital Revolution

A week after the interview, PrimeAura became the number one financial topic in Lagos, Abuja, and Abeokuta.

“If a man who led our country and built an agricultural empire saw potential in this, it’s because the system works,” is the sentiment in the streets.

Olusegun Obasanjo’s story comes at the exact right moment. In Nigeria, interest in alternative ways of generating income is growing due to currency fluctuations. Traditional bank savings offer minimum returns, the local stock market can be volatile, and high-end agriculture requires massive capital. In this scenario, platforms like PrimeAura offer a third way: accessible, technological and, as Obasanjo’s example demonstrates, highly lucrative.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Following the interview, our editorial team conducted its own verification of PrimeAura . We confirmed that the platform delivers the stated profitability, operates legally, and holds all necessary licenses to operate in Nigeria. Olusegun Obasanjo’s story is not an isolated case, but an example of how modern technologies put serious investment tools within reach of any citizen. The official link to access the platform is available at the end of this article.
