My Executive Order On 2uBaba

I hereby issue "Executive Order" granting 2uBaba permission to carry out his peaceful protest. I will deploy my men to provide security. However, if during the protest security of life and property is threatened, I will order my men to deal decisively with it.

If I were you government media advisers and special media advisers, I will join the protest. Yes, I will join the protest. I will protest, not against President Buhari, but against 2uBaba himself. I will be challenging his moral authority to protest against this government given that a man who benefitted from corruption is his benefactor.

You see, this is what you should be doing. Join the protest; take over the protest. At the protest ground, put 2uBaba on the spot. Turn the whole thing against him, turn it into a sham.

It is not for you to ask him not to protest, or to deny him the protest. It is not for you to challenge him to a televised debate, or ask him to appear on national television to prove that he has moral authority to exercise his right,

A right is simply what it is – a right – guaranteed by the Constitution of the land. It is not about right or wrong, good or bad, morality or immorality. It is about the very existence of an individual; about the inalienable right to peaceful assembly.

If permission could be granted to IPOB to protest, why not an ordinary musician?

If you could object to the ridiculous demand that PMB should appear on national TV to prove that he is alive why do you now want 2uBaba to do same to prove that he has a right to protest?

I support PMB, and I would vote him again and again, but on this one, you government media men and advisers are getting it wrong. Please don't do to PMB what was done to Jonathan. Don't deceive the man
