Adams Oshiomhole’s Pension Benefits

Adams Oshiomhole

1. N200 million mansion anywhere in Nigeria 

2. 3 cars to be changed every five years, 

3. 3 drivers to be paid by Edo State Government for as long as Oshiomhole is alive 

4. 2 cooks to be paid by Edo State Government for as long as Oshiomhole is alive

5. 100% of his last salary drawn as governor for life

6. A personal assistant not below level 12 in the civil service to be paid by Edo State Government for as long as Oshiomhole is alive, and

7. Furniture Allowance equivalent to 150% of his last drawn salary to be changed every two years.

Outrage! 

And the sad part is all these are legally backed by an Act of Edo State House of Assembly. 

Meanwhile, thousands of Edo State retired civil servants, teachers, nurses, doctors etc are still being owed their pension benefits. 

Any system, people or group of people that allows a situation where one man works for only four or eight years and gets these kind of benefits whereas tens of thousands of others worked for thirty to thirty-five years for the government without getting their due, is heartless. 

More saddening is the fact that this is Oshiomhole who rose to power on the crest of championing the welfare of workers.

I think the word "comrade" has just been changed to "come-raid"
