Short memo to my President

Presido, your wife alleged your government has been hijacked. Your bosom friend, the head of Customs, has practically said the same thing. And we see evidence of this everywhere and every time.

When are you going to act sir?

If you are interested in 2019, take it from me, your present team cannot deliver the mandate sir.

You need to take decisive action starting with the latest infamy – Mainagate. In my opinion, the following people should go immediately:

1. AGF Abubakar Malami – for twisting court judgement, thus giving way for Maina to be reinstated

2. Minister Danbazau – for not bringing your attention to the episode

3. The HoS of the Federation – for not bringing it to your attention

4. The CoS – he is politically inexperienced sir

5. The NSA – for DSS adverse report on Magu, and for Ikoyi Dollars, which he should have known about if he was on top of his game sir

6. Hajia Amina Alhassan – I need not restate her offense sir. It is too well known.

7. The DG of National Orientation Agency – this guy has no iota of idea to mass-mobilize the people to line up behind your government sir. For two years, he is yet to craft a strategy to galvanize the people against corruption, and to promote national values and ethos.

There are others who should go too, but I leave them to you sir. After all what do I know? My own is to post. But whatever you have to do, you have to do now sir, so that your new team can settle down on the job before the hustling for 2019 assumes top gear sir.
