NOT MIRACLE

You are a 35 year old man. You say President Buhari has failed. 

I ask, have you failed as a young man? You say no.

Then on what basis do you rate a 15 month old administration as a failure? If at 35 years  you have not failed, how is a 15-month old baby a failure? 

The impatience of some Nigerians is legendary. It is reflected in their craze to "harmer" at all costs, by hook or crook. They don't want to work or make sacrifice. They just want to enjoy. 

Listen, over the years our country was headed in the wrong direction like a car being driven on the opposite direction to its destination. To reverse the trend would take some sacrifice from all of us.

I magine a car being driven on Third Main Bridge. The car is supposed to be going from Gbagada to Ikoyi but it's driver drives it from Gbagada to Oshodi.

Given the culvert demarcating the road, how does such a car turn round to face it's original destination? Of course it will take a patient driver to get to Anthony, turn off to join Ikorodu Road, turn off again to join Town Planning Road, and finally turn off once again to rejoin Oshodi-Gbagada Express Road and from there to Ikoyi

While making these turns  the driver may encounter some difficulties. For instance, his car may break down, or he may encounter hold-up, VIO officials, FRSC officials, Police or some other obstruction. He may also make genuine mistakes along the way. Any or all of these happening will definitely slow down his journey.

That is exactly what our country is currently facing. It will take patience and sacrifice to get it right. 

We were warned that the change will not be miraculous. So let's give PMB a chance, at least till 2019 before judging him.
