Does Africa have economic challenges? Yes, no doubt, but it is not alone.

Did you speak the truth about Africa? Yes, I think so.

However, as an ambassador of global brands, you failed in your primary responsibility with that comment discouraging Black Americans from relocating to Africa.

Methinks, you should be talking about opportunities that abound in Africa, not demarketing a continent that has been nice to you.

You have a large fan base in Africa, and no doubt a large chunk of your wealth, and your family’s wealth, comes from Africa.

Despite your many years sojourn abroad, you came back to Africa, to your roots, went to school in Africa, started your music career in Africa, married an African woman, and raising an African family. The least you could do is to appreciate a continent that has been so benevolent to you even as you speak truth to power.

No man warns visitors not to visit his home simply because he has family issues. There are times it is more dignifying to refrain from speaking.
