1. PMB must do everything possible to avoid OBJ writing him a letter. The last time OBJ wrote a letter to a sitting President, things turned up side down for that President.

So PMB must avoid that situation. How? By performing. The commonest measure of performance in Nigeria is electricity supply. Right now it is non-existent. PMB must determine what really is the problem of this sector and fix it. 

2. Former President Goodluck Jonathan allowed his wife Mama P to ruin PDP when she had a run in with some powerful governors and personalities in the party. Jonathan looked the other way. This development saw him lose a re-election as these powerful governors and personalities pitched their tent with Buhari. Now the same Mama P has used her mouth to run herself into EFCC net even when EFCC was not looking her way. That EFCC net may likely extend beyond her to the main culprit himself. Now, as the dragnet is closing,  the main culprit, having failed to reign in his wife may be dragged in. So, he needs somebody to speak to somebody at Aso Rock. Hence the visit of 20th January to OBJ.

3. But the visit to OBJ needed to be made discreet. And since it coincided with a very big event in the US, an instruction was passed to Deji Adeyanju, principal associate of the visitor, to divert attention from the visit. Hence Adeyanju released a tweet to the effect that the visitor was invited to the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America. But trust OBJ. He made sure the media was on hand to welcome the visitor and his party to his home. This was how the so called Invitation to Trump inauguration trumpeted by PDP fell flat. A lie never travels far. 

Well, according to the late Igbo Highlife music maestro, Oliver De Coque, "Ana enwe Obodo enwe". Now, the visitor has discovered that, belatedly though. But he is now wiser. 

So I urge Baba to oblige the now repentant prodigal son and speak with the other Baba in Abuja on condition that the bowler hat-wearing prodigal son orders his Avengers to cease further bombardment of oil and gas pipelines. If this condition is met, then EFCC should quietly close the file on Madam P. 

However, Madam P must forego all those  millions of Dollars that warranted her latest unprovoked braggadocio, and the Baba in Aso must also order a closure of the case. Time to lower the political heat.
